How do I harvest?
Snip with scissors just above the mat, at the base of the shoots, once they’ve grown to the size you want.
Rinse with a colander and leave to dry on paper towel for a few minutes before use.
Once the stems have been cut, they won’t regrow.
What happens if I forget to water my microgreens?
Light loafing of microgreens may occur from underwatering. Don’t panic, they are just thirsty. Add water and they may jump back up in a few hours.
How do I store microgreens?
Store cut microgreens in a lidded container in the fridge, on a piece of paper towel. They’re best used within five days. Give them a quick rinse before use.
Are EARTI microgreens clean?
EARTI grows only organic seed. Zero treatment of pesticide, fertilizer, preservatives, or chemical additives. Our grow medium is made from bamboo and is clean from any contamination soil may allow.
Washing your EARTI microgreens is recommended, but not critical.
Is EARTI sustainable?
Grow tray is PLA and biodegradable. EARTI grow mat is made from natural bamboo fiber and 100% compostable.
We recommend composting your used grow mat or discarding in outside trash.
